Recipe: Crock pot BBQ Pulled Chicken Sandwiches

On this particular day I only had to come up with a dinner for me and the hubbs. Which meant not so many dietary restrictions and also something that would be fast and easy.
I found frozen chicken breasts in my freezer so I tossed them in the crock pot on high and forgot about them for 3-4 hours.
When the breasts were fully cooked I broke the chicken up in the crock pot and spooned the amount I would need for two sandwiches into a bowl.
From there I just decided to wing it.
Bbq sauce, honey, and maple syrup made it's way into in the chicken and wa la, bbq pulled chicken sandwiches.
I toasted wheat bread for the hubby and gluten free bread from myself. This was super easy, sweet, and darn good if I do say so myself.

Ever just toss chicken in your crock pot and then come up with what you are going to make later?
Ever just wing it and add ingredients to chicken and it works out?
Thankfully this is what happened on this day. ;)

Oh happy day!
It’s rainy here, the family is watching a Fringe dvd marathon and the crockpot is bubbling!
Hope this finds you having an awesome day too!

Definitely going to try this. I have a question though, do you put anything in with the frozen chicken, like water or broth?
