Crop Tops & Overalls

OK, lets start by pointing out the obvious. I am a 38 year old mother-of-two, and I am wearing two items that can be looked at as not age appropriate. Now, let me say the most important thing in this post, I don't give a f*** who thinks this is age appropriate for me to be wearing, I love this look! ;) No, really, I love both items and I think it doesn't matter your age as long as you style the items in a tasteful and fun way. Having said that, I do try to dress appropriate for my age, but what I think that definition is, not what I'm told that definition is. Does that make sense? I follow my own rules! And I hope you can say the same when it comes to how you dress. Have fun with it ladies, fashion should be fun!

Now, about this outfit. I am a giant fan of overalls, I have been for years (and let's be honest I was back in my childhood as well). I love the idea of dressing them up by cuffing the ankles and adding a heel, so that is just what I did. By pairing them with this adorable striped crop top and white denim jacket, I still had the coverage I felt comfortable with and the style that I love. In the end I added lots of silver jewelry and a couple of color pops with my blue mirror sunglasses, yellow clutch, and bold pink lip.
