My brother-in-law Michael raised over $1400 for the Autism Society of Illinois for the LeaderShop's Annual Fundraiser.
This was a 2 part pirate themed party. The kids and myself went during the "buccaneer blast" and later that night they had a "swashbuckler soiree" dinner that my sister-in-law attended.
During the time we were there the kids enjoyed games, balloon animals and swards, watching sward fights, taunting uncle Mike who was in jail (and at one point trying to break him out!), and so many more fun activities.
Since it was in the 30's this day it was nice enough to walk around a bit at the zoo but we were thankful the event was inside too. ;)

Thank you for helping to raise awareness about the education needed for both families and teachers alike to help kids on the spectrum thrive. I truly wish all teachers were like you Mike! Wait, can you just change grades every year and teach my kids? No? Worth a shot! xo
