Easter Bunny Photo Experience at Woodfield Mall

My family was invited to enjoy the Easter bunny photo experience at Woodfield Mall, and that's just what we did yesterday afternoon. Please head over to my Instagram account this morning, (@StilettosAndDiaperBags) to check out my IG stories for videos & boomerangs before they disappear. Anyone else wish select Insta stories would stay up longer then 24 hours? I do! But I digress...

We got the VIP treatment and not only met & took photos with the Easter bunny, but we were also given a mall gift card to shop for whatever we wanted as well! A Sunday filled with fashion and fun? Yes please. We decided to shop for Easter clothes as the kids hadn't picked out their outfits yet and each year and they actually look forward to styling their own looks. The little lady usually picks out a new dress and the my dude has rocked everything from a gray fedora to top off his fancy look to an argyle vests. Generally on this day we get pretty dressed up. Both of my children have some great taste when it comes to clothing and styling outfits. I don't know where they get this from. ;)

This was one fun afternoon and my kids felt totally special! We started out by heading right to the Easter bunny. I mean, how can you not go strait to the main event? If you plan to go this week, I would recommend parking by the lower level of Macy's and walking right through into the mall. The set up is just past guest services once you get into the mall, we found it to be fast moving and well organized.  Here is more info if you can make it out this week:

The Easter Bunny Photo Experience:
  • The Bunny will be at Woodfield mall daily through April 15th, hours vary so please head to the website to ensure he will be there!
  • The Bunny Photo experience is in the Grand Court
  • Save time and avoid the line with Bunny by Appointment! Now you can reserve your magical moment with Bunny online at http://simon.noerrbunny.com

After they had their photos taken, each child was given a sucker and a activity pad. They were excited, and I thought that was very sweet. Both my kids love playing with activity books during car rides, so this was fun on the way home too! The kids say thank you, Easter bunny.

Next up, shopping time! We noticed there was a Gap Kids close by, and my daughter went strait for this bright floral shirt dress. It is adorable! I love the colors ad it will be perfect for our more relaxed day this year. My son opted to try white denim and two different button-up shirts. Truth be told, my husband loved the green one, but in the end the little man wanted the blue shirt. It was so close, he actually choose by feeling the material and deducing the blue one was softer. We didn't end up getting the white denim because there was just no way with this guy that these would stay white more then 5 minutes. Anyone else have kids that use their clothes as napkins? That's my boy! He did pick up a new shirt for his birthday next month and he was quite happy with the new additions to his wardrobe.

If you head to my IG stories, you'll see we did a bit of shoe shopping as well. My daughter picked up two pair of new shoes, and so did my son. What a day these kids had! We finished off by grabbing a late lunch/early dinner and talked about how much fun our weekend was. My son declared the mall was so big he could live there and never be bored. I have to agree with him on that one, Woodfield Mall has something for everyone!

What are you Easter plans this year? Do you take your kids to see the Easter bunny?
