Feminine Florals for Spring

Happy Monday friends! I hope you had a wonderful weekend and found time, even if only for 30 minutes, to do something for yourself. I had a busy weekend filled with therapy for my son, a Fine Arts Festival at my children's school (where my son helped with lighting during the play), a birthday dinner for my sister-in-law, lots of mini house projects, and a good amount of play dates. I did, however, carve out time for a relaxing bath. Sure, I had to wait for the kids to go to sleep to get this time, but I took it! Get in some "me time" you guys. I went years feeling guilty taking it, but now I make sure it's a priority. I do have to schedule it in my planner though, otherwise, I no joke I forget to take it. Maybe one day it will come naturally! ;) Anyway, let's talk about this gorgeous feminine floral dress.

SHOP THE LOOK:

This dress is literally goals! When Ann Taylor reached out and asked me to pick a dress and shoes to style, I thought this would be easy. I like what I like and I would know it when I saw it. NOPE! Way too many gorgeous dresses to choose from. I linked the other three that were in the running, but in the end, I wanted this yellow number in my life. Forever! ;) It's so girly and pretty and I loved that the flower print had white and blue in it. I really can't wait to wear it again, maybe with a denim jacket and a different hair style? See this is how my brain works. I see a dress and then style it over and over in my mind. This makes me happy. But I digress...

Not only are the dress and sandals both beautiful, but they are such outstanding quality. You really do get me you pay for. (That said, take advantage of their current sale!) Plus the shoes are very comfortable.  I have worn them three times so far (the weather litter just got better), once for seven hours, and they are very easy to walk in. Feels like wedges..what more can you ask for in a pretty sandal? Now let's talk accessories. This hat, I life for! I am in the middle of updating my hat collection, so I've been "pulling the trigger" on ones I've had my eye on forever. This one is so well made and the brim will not bend or flop. Again, a great quality piece to add to your wardrobe.

I finished my look off with gold jewelry, white sunglasses, and an old school favorite of mine, my brown saddle bag. I love this outfit! I love how I felt when I wore it and I love how happy the yellow made me feel.

Thank you so much for stopping by the blog today, choose to make it a great day! xoxo
