Christmas Card Style

It's that time of year again! You know when you lay out matching (but not to matching) outfits on your floor for the entire family to wear for your annual Christmas card shoot. This year, I wanted to have a neutral pallet, so I went with the colors black, white, and camel. In the end, I was able to pull all four looks together in two days and we were ready for our photos. I can't wait to share our 2018 Christmas card with you guys, obviously coming to the blog soon! ;)

SHOP THE LOOK

I have to admit, when I'm photographed alone, this outfit make less sense then it does when I'm in my group. To be honest, I'd probably pair this outfit with a pop of a bright color (like red pumps with bows) if I wasn't staying in this color wheel, but this look worked perfectly when styled as a family. I have been living in this white turtleneck lately. It's a wardrobe staple and one that will never go out of style. Speaking of never going out of style, this full midi skirt has been with me since 2015 and it's still doing me proud. I love having items in my wardrobe that I can style and style year in and year out.

In the end, I added lots of gold jewelry, sleek straight hair, and a pop of color in the lip. I have to tell you, I'm very happy with the finished product. We not only got the two shots needed for our Christmas card this year, but we also got some beautiful candid shots I plan to hang in my home. We can't freeze time, but we can remember these special moments for years to come!
