With the holidays coming up, I'm on the hunt for quite a few new dresses and/or outfits to wear for them. Between Thanksgiving, my annual extended family Christmas party in early December, Christmas Eve, Christmas day, and NYE, I need a good mix of looks that are both comfortable but a bit more dressed up then a classic get-together pairing. Enter my latest try-on from Amazon Prime.

Check back often because not only do I update my "Try-ons" page a few times a month, but I actually update and add more to my storefront almost daily. Alright, now let's talk about this beautiful dress I found. This sparkly number would be great for a NYE dinner or even a holiday work party.
I decided to let the dress be the star of the show, so I kept the accessories to a minimum. By adding black tights, gray pumps, a few pieces of gold jewelry, and a quilted emerald colored bag, my dress was holiday party ready. The plunging neckline in the back is such a pretty detail when you turn around, and the slit on the left leg is the perfect height. The style is modest, but the sparkle demands attention.
