If It's Not Broken, Don't Fix It

As a blogger and as someone who loves to shop, I often want to wear things that are new and on trend. But what about all the oldie but goodies we have in our closet? I say, if it's not broken, don't fix it! In today's post, each item I am wearing is something I have collected over the years. In true "me" fashion, I did have to pair the look with a new bag that I am currently loving, but everything else is an old friend. Let's take a closer look, shall we?

SHOP THE LOOK

This dress is an absolute favorite of mine. I picked it up back in early 2016 in one of my first few trunks that I received from Trunk Club. This beauty was part of a collection that Olivia Palermo did with Chelsea28 and I loved it so much I actually picked up two items from that collection. I've only worn it a few times, but each time I do I find myself in the best mood. If that's not a great reason to keep it in rotation, I don't know what is. The jacket goes even farther back! I traced it back to 2012. It does have some wear and tear on the interior, but I have full intentions to run it into the ground. ;)

OK, we need to talk boots. I'm not sure why it took me so long to discover, but I finally came across the website Qupid in early 2017. I scooped up these boots and a few pair of flats as well. Their price points are very affordable and the quality is quite good as well! I have worn these many times in the past two years and I don't plan to stop anytime soon. Speaking of great price points and great quality, can we discuss this backpack? This is the only new item I am wearing I'm telling you the truth when I say this is my current daily bag. I love the style and it comes in four colors you guys! Plus, it's under $30..SCORE!

Jacket: c/o Shein // Dress:  // Slip: No clue! ( It came with a different dress) // Boots: Qupid // Bag: c/o Amazon (comes in four colors!)

Do you wear items for years and years or do you try to rotate items out more often? What do you think of this pairing?
