Florals for Fall

If I had to pick one print that I wear the most year round, I would have to say it is a stalemate between florals and stripes. There is something about wearing florals the just makes me happy. It probably the same thing that led me to plant a flower garden before tackling a veggie one and the same that has me looking at fresh flowers at every farmers market and grocery store I go to. I just love pretty flowers, what can I say?

On a recent trip to Nordstrom Rack, I found this beautiful floral maxi dress. Long and flowy...check, floral print...check, smocked waist that cinches the smallest part of my waist...check. You are so coming home with me! It is definitely a dress that I will wear tons this year, but I can see myself keeping this one for years and years to come as well. It for sure will not go out of style anytime soon and I love adding items like that to my wardrobe. 

I decided to pair it with a great saddle bag, classic black heels, and gold jewelry. In the end, it was the perfect look for a night out to celebrate my besties birthday. Sometimes the best outfits are the ones that are truly effortless to style.
