Week 1 Delivery 

This month, I teamed up with Hungryroot to test out their food delivery service. Spoiler alert, it was fantastic! In the past I have always thought when it comes to food you can only have two of the following three; inexpensive, fast, and/or healthy. If you follow me over on IG then you have seen tons of yummy recipes pop up in my IG stories. Each week a box is delivered to your doorstep, everything can be pre-selected from their website and is altered to fit your families tastes and dietary restrictions.

Banza Chickpea Cabatappi, Spinach Garlic Chicken Sausage, Superfood Tomato 

I love how simple these meals are to create! There are no long recipes to follow, just a single print out of the items that go together in each box you receive. They also have suggestions on their site about what items from your pantry you can add to those dishes. I have added eggs, avocado, cheese, and nan bread to mine to name a few. There is very little chopping to do at all, every meal takes around 20 minutes to complete and most are done in one pan! We chose a gluten free plan and have had many plant based food days which we have all loved. I have to say, I feel healthier than ever!

Some of the dishes looked more appetizing then others, but I kid you not, out of 12 meals, there was only 1 my kids did not love. I am so grateful to see my kids eat plate after plate of rainbow colors,  leaner meats, and healthier options. Especially now, it's important to eat a balanced diet to keep your immune system strong.

So there you have it, my two weeks with Hungryroot. As I stated above, I have continued this service past the point of gifted meals. It's just that good you guys!
