Outfit: Baby Shower Atire

IMG_2172 IMG_2187 IMG_2196
Dress: GiGi Bottega, Earrings: Express, Wrist Wrap: C/O Kristin Hassan, Watch: Fossil, Ring: Free People, Shoes: Victoria's Secret

This is what I wore to my cousin's baby shower. It was at a beautiful Italian restaurant and I was super excited to FINALLY wear this dress. I got it back at the Gigi Bottega event I went to and have been eyeing it in my closet waiting for the right event ever since.  I felt very 70's chic this day. See, you can never have too many maxi dresses (I seriously have a ridiculous collection)! I know some people think they are only good for tall people but as a 5'4" girl I'm here to tell you, that's just not true. Try one, you'll love it! ;)

You always look so gorgeous. I love this dress. My fiance hates when I wear maxis (I'm 5'2) because he says the swallow me whole. Well, I bought myself a brand new maxi dress this weekend and I can't wait to wear it :)

And that dress?! Oh swoon... you look so beautiful and the shoes + accessories are so perfect with it. I'm SO with you, I'm kind of addicted to maxi dresses lately, super pretty & insanely comfy. xo

Oh I love the shoulder on that dress! Maxi has been my go-to since I'm 5 1/2 months pregnant and still trying to live in the fashion I love! Cute post. xx

I only own 3 maxi dresses. I need to buy more! They are often too short on me. :-(

Love the dress! I like the fact that the sleeve is on the left coz most dresses in this style have left bare and right sleeved. I have a scar on my left shoulder and this would be perfect for me.. not that I mind the scar but I hate people staring and looking at me like I'm from another planet!

just have them altered! I do all the time! This one I had taken in at the arm pit, but most I have taken up a few inches. Always remember alter! ;)

I love the look of a maxi but have a super hard time finding ones that are long enough....so I'm of the opposite mentality! They're for those of lesser heights!!
