Outfit: Network After Work

 Last week myself and Kaitlyn (my sister-in-law and business partner) attended our first ever Network After Work event. 

I decided to wear my favorite black denim with a blouse and blazer. I know my work allows me to wear whatever I want, but most others would be coming right from their 9 to 5 jobs. I figured this was a safe outfit for the event. 

Of course it wouldn't be me if I didn't add some amazing sparking jewelry to finish off my look!

We had no idea what to expect, as it was our first time going to one of these, but boy were we in for a treat!

We checked in and had to pick our name tags based on our industry (everything was color coated). 

We decided to focus the event not on our Company, Sisters Marie, but on our first of two websites, Because I Shop Too Much. 

The venue was packed! It was like speed business dating. 

We made some great contacts, brought some new eyes to our sites, then headed downstairs to have a quick bite for dinner.

 We ended up ordering mini burgers and a super yummy spinach salad to share. Both were delicious! Sorry for the dark photos, it was romantic lighting. ;)
