We really do need to toss out all those "rules" that say you can't wear black and brown or black and navy together. Neutrals were made to be mixed and matched and it always looks oh so right!

I paired this great year round polka dot skirt with a cozy knit, tights, boots, and faux leather jacket. To finish the look off I added some great gold jewelry, my stunning green statement earrings, and round framed sunnies. This look was perfect for running errands and getting to the appointment I had this day.

Knit: Gap // Jacket: c/o Sheinside // Skirt: Old Navy (swap w/ Kaitlyn) // Tights: Loft // Shoes & Bag: c/o Just Fab // Earrings, Rings, & Bracelet: T+J Designs // Sunnies: c/o Shop Lately

I just love year round pieces. Make sure you head over to the Sisters Marie blog this Thursday to see how myself and Kaitlyn Rocked it & Swapped it during different seasons.

Do you mix your neutrals? What's your favorite neutral mixing color combo? I'd have to say mine is hands down black and brown.
