Bears for Humanity and I have teamed up to tell you about their great products that are not only cute, they are also on a very important mission. This company is helping our community, while also helping the Earth. "From farm to fulfillment, our products are made using only certified organic materials and Fair Trade practices, while employing at-risk women from welfare-to work programs right here in the US." These are important factors that we don't generally take into consideration while stuffed animal shopping. Well, at least I haven't in the past. However, after seeing my kids reactions to these and reading more about Bears for Humanity, I feel like we should be looking into these factors before we do most of our shopping!

Full on Obsession with Full Skirts
This skirt is everything! It is hands down my favorite item of clothing and I wear it more then any other item in my wardrobe on a weekly basis. It's so light weight and full, I love the movement I get every time I walk around. This skirt has kicked my maxi skirt obsession into high gear, but honestly, it's this skirt that I am obsessed with. How do you not fall more in love with full skirts after seeing this beauty?

My Current Skincare Routine
I have been using Glo Therapeutics for the past four weeks and I wanted to share it with you guys because I am loving it all! Yes, Glo Therapeutics did gift me these products, but they did not ask me to share my review with you. I wanted to do so because my skin has been looking amazing and these products are the reason why! As most of your know, I am a huge fan of Glo Minerals as well. I wear their lip colors weekly (for about two years now) and my obsession is only growing. It seemed a natural progression to try their skincare line, no?

Product Review: Function of Beauty
How cool is this custom shampoo & conditioner set? I love seeing my name on the bottle and I am a big fan of the scent & what it is that the set does for my hair. Let me back up a bit & start from the beginning.

Recipe: Crustless Quiche
I was recently on a quest to find a recipe for a crustless quiche. My mom made one that was out of this world, and I couldn't stop thinking about it in the weeks that followed. The day I went shopping, she was already at work and I didn't want to wait to get the recipe, so I used my best friend Google to find a similar one. I used the recipe I found on Allrecipes, but tweaked it a bit to fit my family's tastes.

Luck is Everywhere!
You may recall from previous years that I am one lucky lady who gets the pleasure of working with the Illinois State Lottery. In the past, they have sent me to see Erykah Badu and 311 so this year when they reached out, I couldn't wait to see who was playing. I was elated to find out they would be sending me to see The Roots and Donnie Trumpet. The excitement grew and I felt super lucky when Chance the Rapper announced he would be opening as well. I mean....perfect line up!
Like last year, the show was at The Taste of Chicago at the Petrillo Music Shell (Columbus Dr. & Jackson Blvd.). The setup was identical to last years, complete with VIP seating along the side rail, food tent stocked with everything from fish tacos to Lottery cookies, private tables and seating for chatting with other attendees, and clear views to seeing the acts enter and exit the stage. Not bad at all. If I wasn't feeling lucky enough, I just happened to be walking by as Quest Love was walking in. I looked up and was like "oh, hey!". To that he responded "What's up?". My night was made!

Classic Summer Style
You can't get more classic summer style then this outfit. I feel like this has been my summer uniform for many years now, and I don't see that changing anytime soon. Pairing a romper with a cute hat, great neutral sandals, and grabbing a cardigan for cooler temps at night is effortless and still feels put together. Although the cardigan and hat are from years past, I did get a few new rompers this season to refresh the weekly wardrobe. How cute is this orange number? I love that is was under $35 too!
Mid-way through the shoot my bean asked if she could get in the shot. Of course you can my love, I honestly wish you would more! She's going through a bit of a shy phase lately and won't let me do "photo shoots" of her or with her. But taking phone pics and snapchats are OK....alright miss thing, you are the boss! :)
My Look: Romper: Old Navy // Cardigan: Old Navy (similar) // Shoes: c/o Sole Society // Bag: Lulus (similar) // Hat: Target // Sunglasses: Coach (similar) // Watch: Fossil // Beaded Bracelet: Infinite Warrior // Fitbit
What is your summer uniform? I wish they made my daughter's dress in my size, I would totally rock her look too!
