My Style Monday: Fall Fashion with Ann Taylor

If you are a long-time reader of my blog, then you know Fall is my favorite season. I love everything about it from the colors and smells, to the fashion and footwear. Which is why I always stock up on cozy layers and holiday looks right around this time of year. Not only will they bring me right through the winter months, but if you pick-up great quality items, they will be with me for seasons to come as well. Enter my latest Ann Taylor haul. 

SHOP THE LOOK

This outfit is head to toe Ann Taylor (minus the tights I had from last year), and I am obsessed! I saw this romantic, feminine dress online, and I knew I wanted to style my look around it. I was going for pieces that not only could be worn together for Thanksgiving, any other holiday party, or even a brunch or shower, but also pieces that can be mixed and matched for months to come. And then I saw this coat. MIC DROP! I mean, if this is not a wardrobe must have, I don't know what is. It's sophisticated and feels regal, while still being a warm coat that is functional and figure flattering.

To finish off the outfit, I added these great sock booties, beautiful bag, and flower earrings. Let's talk about each of these, shall we? The boots. I have never owned a sock bootie before. Don't get me wrong, it's not because I didn't want to, I just hadn't found a pair that I was in love with. Until now. I love the thin block heel, color, fit, and style of these. I can't wait to wear then with skinny jeans and a chunky knit next! Now let's talk about this gorgeous two toned bag. I love how many compartments there are, and that camel clutch actually slides right out so you can wear them tougher or separate. It is very well made and I am excited to style this one for years to come. Black and camel are literally never going out of style folks! Lastly, the floral earrings. These are great because I love florals for fall, but these could just as easily be worn year round. I love an item that gives you more bang for your buck!
