National Peanut Butter Month

Did you know that the average American consumes more then six pounds of peanuts and peanut butter products each year? Honestly, I think my family might eat more then that! ;)
I am so excited to be in the third month of the Hormel Foods Extended Blogger Program.

With March being national peanut butter month, I knew as soon as I saw this months products I wanted to try a new recipe.

Yes, you see dark chocolate and honey flavored peanut butter! I headed over to the Skippy website to see what I could make using these and I decided to try the recipe for Peanut Butter & Banana Dippin' . This recipe calls for smooth peanut butter, but I used the chocolate one instead to mix it up!

Here is what you need:
Ingredients:
1/4 cup peanut butter
2 medium bananas, mashed
1 cup sliced strawberries
1 medium apple, sliced

Directions:
Mix it all together in a bowl
Ok, this stuff is AMAZING! They recommend that you use celery when making this with regular peanut butter, but I used chocolate so I wanted to try some other items.
We used apples, graham crackers, and even toast!
What's your favorite way to enjoy peanut butter-baked goods, sandwiches, or strait up?
