A Much Needed Vacation

We are off for our first ever road trip with the kids to enjoy our Spring break. Head over to my Instagram account to follow along in our day-to-day adventures.

We will be spending between 17 and 20 hours in the car (each way!) as we drive to Florida, while taking photos in each state we pass through. Yes, we even got disposable cameras for the kids so they can take their own pics! To say the four of us are excited is an understatement. We are elated

In addition to the four of us (for the first time in over 13 years), we will be on vacation with my mom & step dad, siblings & spouses, and nieces and nephews. Yeah, we are rolling 18 people deep! So here's what we will be up to:

Pool days! We have two scheduled during our 7 days there and can't wait to soak up some sun and watch my kids swim. They are little fish and need some swim time after this incredibly cold and long winter.

Sea World
My mom & step dad are treating us to a VIP day at Sea World. Neither myself or my husband has ever been there and my kids are beyond excited. We actually get to pet sea lions and stingrays so it should be a really fun day!

We have a character breakfast with the cast of Disney Jr. (Sophia the first, Doc McStuffins, Jake and the Neverland Pirates, and Handy Manny). After that we will hit a few attractions and park hop onto the next!

Magic Kingdom
We went to both these parks this past April so the kids know what rides they already want to go on and which ones we will be fast passing on. I'm very excited to spend a full day at Magic Kingdom because it truly is my favorite park!

Universal Studios

No one but me has been to this one. I can't wait to show my kids a different park in Orlando. Transformers, minion ride, Men in Black, Harry Potter, and more... here we come!

After 7 fun filled days with the family, we will be getting back in the car and heading toward Nashville! Oh yeah, mommy gets to stay overnight and the next day showing my family around one of my favorite places. My daughter just had her first fried pickles last week and asked if we can get some. Oh yeah bean, fired pickles are so on the menu!

While I'm gone, the blog will be on break as well! I have not taken an official blog break in over 5 years. I usually fill my break with guests posts, but decided I was going to really take a break with my family. I think I've earned it! ;)

Don't forget to follow along on my Instagram account for all our daily posts! You can also find me on my other blog, Sisters Marie, during the break here on Stilettos. xoxo
