Sunshine, sunshine, wherefore art thou sunshine? ;) It has been eight days since I have seen the sun. The last time I saw the sun, it was only out for three hours. Prior to that day, we had not seen it for another nine days. I am enjoying the consistency of the weather (or my neck with titanium plate & six screws are), but my strength in looking on the bright side of the gloomy views is getting harder with each passing day. So, in honor of finding the beauty in the gloom, I am trying new outfit pairings. Unexpected ones if you will!
On this day I paired some Spring stripe pants with a cashmere turtleneck and a faux fur vest. To tie the outfit together a bit, I added navy in the hat and boot plus blue in the sunglasses. I also wanted to make sure the pairing was cohesive (even in it's unexpectedness) so I pulled the brown hues from the vest into the bag I choose to wear.
