Dressing to Music: The Head and the Heart- Rhythm & Blues

Do you ever hear a song on the radio and instantly feel a connection to it? That is exactly how I felt when I heard Rhythm and Blues from The Head and the Heart. Now, every time I hear it, I turn the volume way up and roll the windows down. It's just one of those songs, you know? I also put in on my Sonos and listen to it when I'm getting ready for the day. This is an outfit I recently styled while listening to Rhythm and Blues.

Why not style a dress over a pair of jeans? Especially when the dress is sheer and super flowy. This combo felt retro yet still very put together. What do you think of this pairing? I found these jeans at a Banana Republic outlet store for under $20...SCORE! It was meant to be. ;) In the end I just had to add my fringe bag to this outfit combo and I completed the look with lots of gold jewelry.
