Round-Up: These are a Few of my Favorite Things

As a blogger, each month I am sent a good amount of gifted product to try out in hopes I will review it here on the blog. That said, I don't write about anything I haven't tried out and truly love because that would not feel right to me or be fair to you, my readers. With that said, here are a few items I have been using for over a month now and I'm loving each and every one of them! I've included a shopable bar below, if you plan to shop, please do so by clicking on the links I have provided. It does not cost you extra to use said links, but it does give me a little kick back when you do. That way I can keep shopping and sharing my style with you for years to come! ;) OK, now onto my latest "Round-Up", there are so many great products I'll be highlighting today and the price points range from $4.99 to $150.
Kleenex Facial Cleansing

OK, I was so excited to try out these three product from Kleenex. I was sent Eye Makeup Removers, Exfoliating Cushions, and Facial Cleansing Wipes and I am here to say, you guys need all three! First off, the price points around amazing. They each retail for $9.99 and the refill packs are $4.99. I have always used the Neutrogena brand makeup removing wipes (only $7.99) and although they are great for eye makeup removal, they are greasy and you'd have to wash your face after using them. With the Kleenex brand products, you can literally use all three and you are ready for lotion and bed. Simply add water to the exfoliation cushions and wash your face. The eye makeup remover pads are the perfect size and I've also found myself using them at photo shoots to change out my color stay matte lip. The Facial cleansing wipes are made from such a strong sheet of cloth, and they really get any access dirt or makeup off my face that washing left behind. Plus they have betaine and vitamins B5 and E in them to keep the skin soft and smooth. I will definitely be purchasing these once they are gone. Using all three has become my nighttime routine, one that has me not breaking out as frequently and using them is quick. I like a quick bedtime routine. ;)
Fresh Soy Cleanser, Face Mask, and Face Cream

OK, I am so a big fan of this line. This was my first time trying this brand, so I really wanted to use them for at least 30 days before telling you guys about them. Now that I have, I can say without a shadow of a doubt, these are great products! For starters all three are a superfood for your skin; adding citrus fruit, vitamin C, and minerals to each of these products. A little goes a long way, making the price very worth it and if you are anything like me, you love the smell of citrus and it's just wakes you right up in the morning. The three products that were sent were Fresh Soy Face Cleanser ($15), Fresh Vitamin Nectar Moisture Glow Face Cream ($42), and Fresh Vitamin Nectar Vibrancy-Boosting Face Mask ($62). I love using the soy cleanser in the shower with my Clarisonic MIA 2, my face just feels so refreshed and with this one, truly a little goes a very long way. I use this lotion every morning and the mask once a week now. I feel like my skin looks brighter and I really have been breaking out less this last six weeks. Coincidence? I think not.

SHOP THESE PRODUCTS:

All About Face

I'm a little embarrassed to admit this, but prior to getting this set from the Original Beautyblender, I would throw my blenders away once they got super dirty. Not super cost effective I know, but I never thought to clean them. Weird right? Enter All About Face. This set comes with three Beautyblenders, the original, beauty blusher, and micro mini as well as Blendercleanser ($38). I used my new blenders for almost two months, mostly because I only use foundation about 3 days a week (tops!), so I wanted to get them really good and dirty before I tried the cleanser out. As you can see in the below photos, this is a game changer people. It's like all of a sudden I have all new blenders and again, I also feel like I will break out less now that my blenders are clean. (Note to self, clean makeup brushes soon too!) This set would make a great gift this holiday season and again, it's just an item or set of items I feel like everyone should have.

REN Perfect Canvas

This product is hands-down my favorite new product I have tried this past month. You wash and lotion your face as you normally would, but before you add your makeup this product comes into play. REN Perfect Canvas ($68) is a silicone free skin finishing serum that leaves your skin smoothed, plumped, filled, and primed ready for make-up, or not. The directions say add "a few drops" but I use at least 3-4 drops on my face. I kid you not, the first day I used it four people asked me if I had gotten a facial or was using a new face cream. I even thought my skin looked better and more youthful after looking at myself in both the mirror and in the photos I shot for the blog that day. So, I've been using it ever since and I can truly tell a difference when I forget this step, which I have done twice and was kicking myself for it. ;) This will also be a buy again product for me. Hey, anything that makes my skin look more youthful is a win in my book!

Maple Holistics Tea Tree Shampoo

I love a good non-toxic, sulfate free, all natural shampoo. What's great about this one from Maple Holistics ($12.99) is that it is really great at cleaning your hair. All the build-up and residue some shampoos leave behind is a non issue with this one. I use purple shampoo once a week and I've been using this one every other shampoo. I love the smell and how clean my hair and scalp feel after using it. My daughter actually used it last week and her hair held curls better then it usually does. I have to chalk that up to how clean and weightless this product makes your hair! Want to try some of their products for free? Get your samples here

Chuda SPF Lotion

I have talked about Chuda before in a "Round-up" post because it a brand that has products I truly love. When I ran out of my night cream, they were kind enough to send me more plus another product to try out. So generous, I know! OK, so this time they sent me more of my all time favorite, Chuda Healing Hydrating Cream ($150) and Chuda Sheer Hydrating Lotion Broad Spectrum SPF 30 ($70). As I told you in my previous post, I am obsessed with the hydrating cream. It's rich and heals damaged skin (you can even use it on sunburn), but I love using it as a night cream. My skin really does look so much better after I use this one. I was very excited to try the lotion with SPF in it for daily use. I have to say, it's way better then any SPF lotion I have used before. It is not thick and doesn't leave that overly white sunscreen residue. In fact, it's perfect for daily use under your makeup! I would highly recommend both of these products to anyone looking to repair their skin, especially during these upcoming winter months when it gets super dry and flaky.

DerMend Moisturizing Bruise Formula
OK, if you know me IRL then you know I am constantly getting bruises. I walk into walls, doors, tables, you name it, I've probably walked into it of fallen over it. ;) I've always been very clumsy and I have always had bruises on my legs. It would honestly be weird if I didn't have some random bruise on my legs! Enter DerMend moisturizing bruise cream ($28.66). I tried this out because, well, why not? The directions said to apply it twice daily and guess what, it works! It helps improve the appearance of bruised skin by helping to restore and repair the skin's natural barrier. Now after using it for the past month, I apply at the first site of any bruises and they are gone quickly. I had no idea such a product existed, but I am so glad they sent me this!
Have you tried any of these products before? What are your current favorite products? Thanks so much for stopping by the blog today, I hope you make it a great day! xo
