A Classic Pairing

What a lovely, long holiday weekend we had! Plus with the snow day yesterday, I definitely feel like I gained, but also lost a day if that makes sense. I have to say, I'm ready for the new week and for the hustle and bustle of Christmas to begin. Did anyone get their holiday shopping done between Black Friday and Cyber Monday? As for me, not even close. We have a list and it's a bit shorter this year with 41 presents to buy, not including Christmas morning with our kids. I think I tackled 11 of the 41 this weekend and I'll pick back up in a week or two. Honestly, I don't feel the urgency that I usually do, maybe because Thanksgiving was so early this year. Either way, it will all get done. Now, let's talk about this classic winter outfit pairing, shall we?

SHOP THE LOOK

There's nothing more classic then taking a few wardrobe staples and pairing them together. On this day I paired a black sweater turtleneck with high-waist skinny jeans. To give the look something eye catching, I added this gold ring belt and oxblood colored boots. I love how both of these items pop and give this classic look a bit of personality. To finish the outfit off, I added my new favorite camel coat. I love the color combo black and camel, so it only made sense to add denim to that. 

This outfit was perfect for my day of errands, a school meeting, and putting up my Christmas tree. I felt put together and appropriate at each place I went. This is truly a classic look that will never go out of style. Timeless really as I have worn many versions of this look for the past decade, and don't plan to stop that any time soon.
