The Spring Blues

Hello my lovely friends! If you follow me on IG, then you know this post was supposed to go live yesterday. I had edited all the photos taken from this shoot on my DLSR and had them ready to import to this post. My alarm went off at 5:00am as it does most weekdays and I headed down to have my coffee and work quietly while the rest of my household sleeps. When I sat at my laptop, my computer would not turn on. Long story short, my seven year old computer is no more. The disk is retrievable, so I will be able to get all of the content off of it, but I don't have time to go to the apple store to do so until after my trip to Cabo. Honestly, I should be more upset. I mean, I am annoyed that I am using phone photos for this post and not the really great ones (in my opinion), but I have no control over it so I'm choosing to let it go! My this be yet another cautionary tail to back up everything on your computer regularly. I had not since Fall.

So as I type up this post from my daughter's desktop, I am thankful my laptop was not my only computer option! I will need to save for a new laptop, I'm an apple girl, and I can't retrieve my apple content on a PC, but again small potatoes. I will get a new one eventually and it's not the end of the world. It's all in how you look at it! OK, enough about my computer issues, let's talk about this amazing dress, shall we?

If you have followed me for awhile, you have heard me talk about eShakti before. I began working with this brand back in 2013, and since than, I have reviewed at least one item of clothing per year. eShakti is more then just a women's fashion store. It is the only site that lets you personalize clothes to your size, height, and style! Which means every style you find on their site can be changed or altered to fit your needs. How amazing is that?

I feel in love with this dress right away, but the sleeves were longer and so was the length of the dress. I decided to give it a cute puff sleeve and change the length to give it more of a spring vibe and I couldn't be more happy with the finished product!

Can we take a minute and talk about these shoes? I am beyond obsessed! They are from the current collection from cabi Clothing and are part of an upcoming collaboration I have with that brand in May (so excited about that). They are truly the perfect slip ons and I have been wearing them non-stop for the past week. I just love the color and how they add an little pop to each look they are added to. If you are looking for a great simple shoe to get you through spring and summer, look no further!
