CBD Product Highlight

First off, I apologize that there was not a CBD highlight post for June-August. I had meniscus repair surgery (on both knees at once) and I opted to treat myself using my medical marijuana license after 5 days of using chemical pain meds. Although I realize that recreational marijuana will be legal as of January 1st 2020 in Illinois, I have not shared my preferred products from my dispensary thus far. If you guys are at all interested in hearing about them, please let me know! I have been able to not only treat and control my chronic pain, but I was able to navigate a surgery and post op pain with that medicine as well!

That said, for the past four weeks I have been using these three topical CBD products that I found at Walgreens. This is not a sponsored post. I purchased all of these products and in their own way, they are all good. There was definitely one stand-out product, but all three did what was promised and gave me pain relief. Let me break them down for you.

CBD Unlimited Mist X Topical Spray:

Here is the stand out product for me. This stuff is liquid gold! Seriously though, I have major patella tendon pain and since I started using this a few weeks ago, I notice a big difference. When I first purchased it, I began using the spray 3-4 times a day, but now I find myself only needing it just 1 time per day. It is pricey for it's size, but a little goes a long way. Plus as I already stated, I use it daily and over time I needed less and less. I am also not out yet so you do get a decent amount for what you actually use.

Select CBD Patches, 20mg each:

I recently tried a transdermal patch from my dispensary and I really loved it. So when I saw these at Walgreens, I knew I needed to try them. These patches were was seriously just as good as the ones I found at my medical facility! The patches are large and 20mg each, so you can easily cut it in half or fourths and make them last. When I wore a full patch, I absolutely noticed myself more relaxed and less reactive to stress and triggers. When I cut my patches in half I still felt better, just a bit more subtle.

Sagely CBD Cream:

I chose to try this brand because a family friend (Linda) told me she uses and loves this product. I have to say, I agree with her, I think this CBD cream worked well! It is in a travel shampoo type of bottle so you do need to put it in your hands and rub it in. The smell is like all the topical rubs you love to hate, a bit more subtle I guess, but the sensation of hot/cold is less as well. I used this on my knees and on back, but I found I liked it more on my neck and shoulders. Like all CBD products, the more you use them and the more you keep using them, the less you need them over time. I felt my inflammation reduce big time with this one over a three week span.

What types of CBD products would you like to hear about? Would you be interested in CBD food recipes? And let me know if you want to know about CBD/THC products as well! OK, that's all my questions for now! ;) Thank you so much for stopping by the blog today. I hope you make it a great day! xoxo
