Makeup Diaries

I had my makeup professionally done by Amanda at Elle Salon recently and I have to say, I am obsessed. Over the years I have had my makeup done quite a bit, but this is the first time I immediately bought the items I didn't have, plus I have attempted to recreate this look almost daily since! Thank you so much Amanda, you are so very talented and your attention to detail and blending really took this look up a notch. I felt great about myself all day and this makeup still looked picture perfect eight hours later. The worst part was having to take it off! ;)

My Style Monday: Kimono Obsession

We all have our favorite wardrobe basics that we wear each and every week. For me, I'm always picking up new white tees and tanks to style with my favorite denim for everyday wear. I find myself in this combo year round and it really is just a classic, effortless look that makes me happy and I enjoy wearing. What I have found is that by adding a great shoe and a kimono over this pairing, you can make such a basic look really come to life. CBD Product Highlight

For the past month I have been trying (and seriously loving) four new CBD products. I wanted to share all of them with you today! Since I get so many questions about CBD oil and capsules,  I made sure both of those were in this months selections. I have also gotten a good amount of questions about topical rubs and you guys, I can't wait to talk about this rub with you! Lastly, I tried another infused water, this time it's sparkling and hemp extract is just one of the many items added to it that make it so darn great. Let's take a closer look, shall we? 

Goodbye Dining Room, Hello Tech Room

 Do you have a room in your home that you rarely use? For us this was our dining room. It felt silly keeping it the way it was when we only used it a few times a year when we had company over. Beyond that it was becoming a catch all room. A space that my daughter would sit in on some days for homework or coloring while their bedrooms were getting filled with messes from all of their play dates. Our solution was creating a space that all four of us can use and enjoy, but mostly a space that my kids could use on a daily basis. Not only for homework, but to keep the electronic play dates (yes, that is a thing now-a-days) out of the bedrooms as well. So, the tech room idea was born. Here is what we did.

My Style Monday: Spring, Is That You?

As a girl who lives in the Midwest, I am dying for spring to show it's face. We changed the clocks back, so yesterday we had sun until almost 7pm and it was absolute bliss! I have also officially rotated my closet for the new season, so at this point I'm just waiting for the weather to catch up. If it's possible to will the warmer temps to come by dressing for it, then that is just what I will do! So, here I am in all of my "Spring, is that you?" glory faking it until the weather changes. That said, the weather is looking warmer the next 10 days, so here's to hopping this is it for winter! (fingers crossed)
