This weeks "I want what she has!"
This weeks "I want what she has!" goes to Karen Javens. These boots are super cute! I just love the buckle detail on the sides!
Boots: $59.00 DSW
These boots look great with jeans but they would also look amazing with tights and a skirt! Great find mom! (It's weird to call her Karen!) ;)

Play date
Top: JC Penny
Jeans: Target
Shoes: Aldo
Necklace: Tiffanys & CO (gift)
Bracelete: Tiffanys & CO (gift)
I love this top. With the crazy cold temperatures we are experiencing here in the midwest, I felt like I needed a floral print shirt this day. I even wore a more pink shade of blush to fake the sun kissed look. This loose flowy top was just the thing for chasing my toddler around at a play center. Nothing worse then running around in tighter clothing while having to constantly pull your top down. Glad that was not the case with this outfit!
Man, I can't wait for spring!

modern retro
As I've said before, I am loving the retro trend for spring 2011! Even though there is a lot of it being shoved down our throats (you can't open any magazine with out seeing this trend), I am still a fan of it! Love it or hate it, get used to it! I don't see it going anywhere anytime soon! Here are a few items that I found on Polyvore. I love all of these! The Stella McCartney jeans are amazing and that dress from Diane Von Furstenberg is to die for! All of the items are over $400 so I didn't even tag them...they are dream items for sure! I bet you could find the look for less at F21 or H&M! I know I'll try looking there!
What do you think of the modern retro trend?

All the leaves are brown, and the sky is gray
Top: JC Penny
Jeans: Forever 21
Shoes: Jessica Simpsons clogs
Double Ring: Threadsense
Necklace: Tiffany's & CO
Purse: Rachel Zoe
So excited about how much the early 70's are influencing trends right now! I would have fitted right in during that time! I wore my new high waisted jeans with this lace detail top I got last year. My fringe purse seemed like a no brainier and I was out the door! Simple, stylish, and fun! Love this look!
In unrelated news, 16 pounds until I'm back down to pre-baby weight! Maybe I need to start working out?! Yeah, with a 2 month old and a 2 year old I'm not likely to get any free time soon! *sigh* I just can't wait to fit in my favorite clothes any longer! ;)

Latest Obsession: Cake eye liner
I was given this amazing set for Christmas this year. This stuff is so fun! You can apply it with a brush or with this clear wet liner it comes with. It litterly turns the color you choose to use into liquid liner! I have been having so much fun experimenting with this! I've been wearing the brown a lot and it's nice to get away for my daily black routine!
Cake Eye Liner: $14.99 Ulta

Great Find: $49.99 Jewelry Armour
I've always wanted (and needed) a better place to store my jewelry. Up until now, it has had 3 homes. A small jewelry armour, the top of my dresser, and the rest found a home in my bottom dresser drawer!
Well no more jewelry all over the place because when we were at Target on Friday, I found this jewelry armour for $49.99!!
I had so much fun filling it up! I found jewelry that I forgot I had!! Woo hoo! ;) Here's a peek at what my jewelry collection looks like all organized. The majority of it is costume jewelry, but as I get older I plan to fill this baby with diamonds! haaa I kid, I kid......okay, maybe a few diamonds wouldn't hurt!
Here are my rings and earrings
Bracelets
Statement necklaces
Cuffs and bangles
I hope you guys find the same sale at your Target. It retailed at $250, so $49.99 is a steal!

Dressing to music: Spinnerette-Ghetto Love
Music is such a big part of my life that I decided to try a new concept on an outfit post. I like to listen to music while I get dressed, and sometimes the music takes over and I end up dressing how the song makes me feel. This day was no exception! So without further ado I give you Dressing to Music!
This song is the shit! It is in heavy rotation at my house right now! It makes me smile and dance and I hope it does the same for you!
This is the outfit that happened while I was listening:
Hat: Target
Top: JC Pennys
Jean leggings:Kohls
Boots: Colin Stuart
Necklace: Jewelmint
Purse: Rachel Zoe
I am obsessed with this bag! Amazing right?! I fear I will not put it down until it breaks. Seriously. I went with all black as we were headed off to our day of pampering. I wore my new Jewelmint necklace and a really great ring from Charming Charlie (sorry not shown). I will wear it again...promise!
**please note, I normally do not go out with chipped nail polish. Well this chipped I mean. I'm the kind of girl that would rather go out with none on then super chipped polish. However, in the spirit of dressing with the song the chipped purple worked out nicely! ;)
Here are before and after spa shots. How refreshed do we look?! I guess our eyebrow waxing, facials, massages, hair coloring, and in my case, make up application did us some good! I think everyone should treat themselves to at least one spa day every year!

Anniversary Dinner
Tank: Express
Skirt: Kristin Hassan
Cardigan: Forever 21
Tights: Walgreens
Shoes: Jessica Simpson
Earrings: Kate Spade (gift)
How amazing is this skirt?!!? Kristin is a clothing genius! This skirt is so forgiving and the silhouette is so feminine. I still have about 17 pounds left to loose and I felt like my normal weight in this outfit. That my friends is not an easy task. Well played Kristin, well played! ;)
I paired it with a black tank and cardigan and since I was without my babies for the night, 5 inch heels were a must! And what better way to finish the outfit then with a bright red lipstick. Love this look. I felt pretty all night!
***reminder*** if you want to purchase this skirt, you get 30% off if you use the code Diaperbags30

In times like these you must be resourceful
If you have children in diapers then no matter what, you're buying diapers. Why not get something out of this right? Every package of diapers has these little tags inside of them.
I buy Huggies, but I know that Pampers has these inside all boxes too. If you buy huggies, you set up an account at Enjoy the Ride Rewards . This is were you punch in all the codes you get off of diapers and wipes. Each package is worth anywhere for 4-16 points so it take a while for the numbers to add up. But they do add up! I finally cashed in some of my points for my first coupon. They rewards change often and they only give you 3 or 4 things to pick from at a time. Again, something in return is better then nothing.
This coupon is a $13.49 value and gets me one free pack of pull ups! No, my son is not potty trained yet, but that doesn't mean I couldn't use a free pack of diapers for when he does! Every little bit helps!

Happy 3rd Anniversary Mr. Fergus
Three years ago today the hubby and I tied the knot. That was the best night of my life (well, up until then anyway! I have had 2 very amazing days since! baby 1 and baby 2!!!)
To celebrate we have sent our babies for an overnight at their grandparents and we will be at the spa! Yes, we are enjoying a spa day today! 80 minute massages, facials, and a few other services will be enjoyed. What better way to celebrate our years together then to be pampered together all day?!
Here are a few of our wedding photos. I just grabbed the ones that were already on my computer, far too many to go through of our wedding party and pictures at the reception. I'd love to go through all 3000 of them again sometime soon though. Until then, please enjoy these 4! ;)
Best 3 years of my life! I love Ryan more today then on the day we tied the knot (if that's even possible)! The family we have made together is my entire world!!! I would be lost without them! What can I say? I am a very lucky girl!

Like mother like daughter
How ridiculous is this?! And by ridiculous I mean amazing! ;)
I've had my UGGs since last year and I only wear them when it's dry outside. Hey, if you're going to spend that much on boots, take care of them right?! Well, this year for Christmas my little bean was given a pair of her own. I can't wait for her to wear them. They say newborn, but they're a bit big still. I think I'll stick them on her feet anyway. They're just too cute to sit around in a box!
